Julie was hired October 21, 2016 after doing an internship from Chicago's Community Kitchen as a Chef for The Buzz's kitchen. After about 1 year she asked to be trained also as a Barista/Server where she found her calling. She loved working directly with the customers and loved the interaction that came with that. About a year later she was offered a full time position as the night manager and gladly accepted. And then was offered the position of Music Manager to go along with her position. Even though she said she didn't know much about the music side of everything she has been doing a good job of setting up the entertainers for our weekly shows. Julie was born and raised in KanKaKee, Illinois and about 5 years ago moved to Oak Park to start a new life for herself. She is the proud mother of 4 grown children and 5 grandchildren. Julie enjoys music and spending time with her family and friends.
